do s and donts of a good presentation

although i myself am not a good presenter myself .I got some information collected from the internet and i am summing up them for you guys to read about presenting a good presentation
1 preparation
first of all prepare the presentation by yourself.do not copy it from others. you can always take help from other presentations but never copy the presentation.this is because when you copy you know only what you copy but if you make it yourself, you get plenty more information about the whole topic you are about to present and will feel more confident with the public
charts and diagrams and pictures and even clip arts can be more helpful for your presentation.place them in the right positions in the slides.make sure that they are relevant with the text and datas written.always make sure your text is bigger than your figures and animations but this may not hold true if your figures depict the topic and you can present explaining very nicely.also, if you have a weak text ,you will need more of them.this will make your audience concentrate more on the figures and not on the text.always make sure that the datas written are the latest and give their references.referring them will make it more authentic and will give u more respect as a good presenter.
when you give recommendations, make sure the recommendations are not what you have studied before but make sure the recommendations are from the facts and figures observed from the research itself.

2presentingthe second most important part is presenting.make sure you do the following
first of all you should start by greeting your teachers ,friends and seniors.this will make them happy.we also know first impression is the most important.
dont be overwhelmed by the public.always look into the eyes time to time and not only in the text.you could focus your eyes on one or two people at the centre or sides of the room who are interested people.this way you will not be frustrated.never look at the teachers and seniors and their embarassing smiles if you are too nervous or if it is your first presentation.
finally
finally, say the references.thank all the audiences for being so patient to listen to you.
